Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley

After several weeks of finding little time to read, it was a pleasure to delve into my friend Patricia Bradley’s newest Memphis Cold Case novel, Justice Buried

The heroine, Kelsey Allen is a unique security specialist and an art conservator and the story revolves around a murder and thefts at the Pink Palace Museum, which given all my research into art and antiquities for my Serena Jones Mysteries really sparked my interest. I can tell Pat did her research too! I especially enjoyed the details  about Kelsey’s rock climbing, since that was all new to me.

Kelsey is a bit of a prickly character, but Patricia gives us plenty of insight as to why, which helps us to understand what drives her. I was ridiculously pleased to have deduced (or maybe guessed 😛 ) the culprit fairly early in the story. But I sure didn’t see the twist coming! It has a great surprise ending.

Patricia also has a thriller coming out Oct 3rd as part of a “boxed” set with 9 other Christian thriller authors.

And I’m gifting kindle copies to 3 randomly selected commenters (leave your comment here or on my Facebook post telling me what you like best in suspense).

Selected recipients will be contacted Oct 3rd.

  1. Suspense novels keep me reading until the end much easier than any other genre, maybe thriller suspense is better for me. What I like is not guessing the end…twists and an ending that makes me think after I put the book away.

  2. I love your writing. If this is half as good as your two series I would love to own the set I love suspense novels. They keep my mind thinking and organizing clues.

  3. I love trying to figure out what the author has in store. the way they pay particular attention to character development. Throw in a dash of humour, suspense, frivolity, perhaps some history and you have the makings of a gripping novel.

  4. Haven’t read a thriller in quite sometime. Been going through a romance period and it is time for a change. Just started reading “A Fool & His Monet” for a change of pace. I would love a chance to win three new thrillers.

  5. I just love the fact that I need to work at trying to figure out who did the deed…lol. In a romance, you can be fairly sure the heroine will find her hero. Suspense leaves you wondering if they will ever find each other……

  6. I love being surprised about who a culprit is in suspense fiction! I also have a hard time putting books down because I want to know how things turn out!

Ladies, please look for my emails in your inboxes, as I need to know whether to order your books from the US or Canadian kindle store & if the email addresses I have for you are what you use with Amazon.
